Of Lust & Velvet

Whilst I alone called upon this fate,
If such fate were but a fantasy,
Or a continuum of existence’s mathematics.

Timelessness shelters in your eyes unseen,
Darkness fades into your light.

The glaciers of my modern days melt,
Give way to the beauteous ones,
Setting me in motion number two.

The restful seas of a wide mind,
Usher me to peaceful delight.

The immense deserts of my lost loves,
Transform apace into a new-age Eden,
The fires, at the entrance, set ablaze.

A dark warm hand wandering
Aimlessly between my thighs.

You see, longing smells like you and me,
It smells acrid, pungent, but complete,
And soon to your cries my heart does beat.

May your existence be the loveliest poem to me,
May my words be breaths to your soul,
Under the blow of Time’s endless stream.

I hereby confess my longing to thee.
